This year the Twin Ports Arrowhead Chapter will be holding its Annual Charter Fishing Trip on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  We will be chartering five boats with Superior Pursuits Charter Fishing, FishNorthMN LLC, Angler Management Charters, and James Addiction Charters at 12:00pm out of Park Point - Lakehead Marina.  Please arrive at 11:20am. 

Following the return from fishing, a dinner will be held at Grandma’s Saloon & Grill. A private bartender will be provided.

The Twin Ports Arrowhead Chapter will be holding its Annual Chapter Sporting Clays shoot on Thursday, September 9th, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Old Vermilion Trails, located at 6980 Old Vermilion Trails, Duluth, MN.

 Those that plan to attend should bring at least 3 boxes of shells, your own personal shotgun, safety glasses, and a pair of earplugs.  If you plan on trying your hand at some skeet shooting or flurry you will need to bring extra shells.

 The Chapter will be hosting dinner and refreshments at the completion of the shoot and prizes will be presented.  If you plan on attending, please provide the Chapter office with a list of people that will be coming to the event from your business.  The cost for the sporting clays event will be $20.00 per person, which should be paid prior to the shoot date.  We will need to know the number of people attending so that we can provide Vermilion Trails with a “head count” for the food.  Please let us know how many people will be attending by Friday, September 3rd, 2021.   There will be no alcoholic beverages consumed prior to or during the shoot!

This event has been a great success in the past and most participants win some type of “sporting clays” prize that have been donated by one of the participating firms.  If you plan on bringing a prize donation for the event, you can drop them off at the Chapter office prior to September 17th, 2020, or you can bring them to Old Vermillion Trails on the day of the event.  All prize donations will be greatly appreciated!

This year the Twin Ports Arrowhead Chapter will be holding its Annual Golf Outing at Hidden Greens North Golf Course (11121 S. County Road A) in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. This year’s event is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 11, 2021, with a modified shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy lunch and beverages while they play. Lunch tentatively scheduled for 11:00AM.

The Hidden Greens North Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 traditional-style course with doglegs, trees, and water to contend with. A tranquil course where golfers won't hear many sounds except birds in song, club heads knocking balls and the occasional sound of an errant ball glancing off a red pine. Friendly service in a peaceful setting offers the ideal spot for that golf getaway or group outing.
