Have you lost work to non-union competition? Please make sure to document it using a LOST WORK FORM. It is important that the Chapter understands the impact that non-union shops are having on your business. Download the form here.

Visit the NECA National Website to view the resources and programs that are available to members. NECA is dedicated to enhancing the industry through innovative research, performance standards, progressive labor relations, and workforce recruiting and training. NECA offers the most comprehensive educational opportunities of any electrical association, as well as the industry’s premiere trade show and management training. NECA also publishes ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR magazine, the industry’s top source of information on electrical construction.

The Midwest Regional Office of NECA has made available online the wage rates for all 73 IBEW jurisdictions within its boundaries. The wage info has been compiled in an easy-to-read standardized form. If you need any information that is not on the form, please contact our Chapter Office. To access, click the link below. You will need your log-in information to access the National website.

Youth Activities Sponsorship Initiative

The IBEW Local 242 and Twin Ports Arrowhead Chapter of NECA LLMCC are once again offering contractors the opportunity to directly sponsor the youth organization of their choice. This year’s sponsorship amount was increased to $300 and is limited to one youth organization per contractor.

Contractors are encouraged to use their name and logo on whatever advertising space they receive as part of their sponsorship. Contractors in the past have chosen to sponsor such organizations as Brainerd Warriors Youth Softball, Superior Spartan Hockey, Cloquet High School Robotics, and Proctor Fast Pitch. Note that the sponsorships are not limited to sports organizations.  To arrange a sponsorship, fill out the attached application form and email it to necadave@twinportsneca.com. Please note that sponsorship checks are written directly to the sponsored youth organization.

To help us promote this program, please forward images of your sponsorship “in action” to Dave Orman so that they can be posted on the LLMCC’s website. Great examples are billboards, team uniforms, or your logo on a robot.
